Two-factor authentication is a feature that adds an extra layer of protection to your Rhythm360 account. With two-factor authentication enabled, an attempted login to your account requires verification from your mobile device. This requires a valid phone number to be attached to your profile.
To enable two-factor authentication for your Rhythm360 account:
- Click on your profile icon on the top right of any Rhythm360 page.
- Click My Profile. A new window will appear.
- In the new window, confirm that your phone number is listed under the Phone field. If you do not have a number listed, you may enter it.
- Your phone number should be a mobile number that can receive text messages. Standard messaging and data rates may apply.
- Change the country code by clicking the "+1" box to the left of the phone number field.
- Click the Enable Two Factor Authentication toggle. A new window will appear.
- When the new window opens, a six-digit one-time password will be sent to your phone number. Enter the password into the field, and click Submit. The window will close.
- Click Update Information.
Your account now has two-factor authentication enabled. The next time you login to your account, you will be required to enter another one-time password to verify your identity.
Troubleshooting Steps:
If you already have a phone number entered and do not see the Enable Two Factor Authentication toggle, re-enter your phone number and it will appear
