Resetting a Blood Pressure Cuff

This article will walk through how to reset different brands of blood pressure cuffs that are used in our RPM program. A reset is recommended for devices that are not transmitting, providing inconsistent readings, or behaving abnormally before contacting rpm@rhythm.science for a replacement. To use this article, find the brand of device and guide the patient through the steps for the reset. 

Tellihealth:

1. With the power off, press SET 9 times until CL appears.
2. Press Start/Stop. The CL will flash three times.
3. Press MEM, and it should say No on the screen.
4. The cuff is fully reset

BioLand:

1. Press the [Start/Stop] button to turn the device off.
2. Press and hold both MEMORY and USER 1/2 buttons simultaneously.
3. When “tst” pops up release both buttons.
4. When “00” pops up or “0” press the [START/STOP] button.
5. Press the [Start/Stop] button to take the reading.
