Add Action Button

Add Action is a method for Technicians and Clinicians to log the amount of time spent on HF/HTN patients. The Patient Action tracks the specific action a user has taken for a patient, which includes calling the patient, reviewing data, and more. The time associated is also totaled for each monitoring period and both are displayed and summarized on the HF/HTN Transmissions. 

Each patient has a 20-minute requirement for action logging per month. Once a new action has been added, the dashboard will show the remaining action time for the month.

Viewing Actions

Actions are associated with individual patients. To view a log of actions and time spent for a specific patient, you must navigate to their Patient Profile page. 

In a patient's profile page, click View Log to open a new window that displays a report of Action Time and Action Type


Adding Actions

To add your action spent on this patient:

  1. Navigate to the patient's profile.
  2. At the bottom of the page, click the green Add Action button.
  3. A new window will appear. Select the Patient Action.
  4. Enter in the time spent on the action. default amount of 2 mins may have been added, depending on your settings.. 
  5. Enter in the task date and time. By default, these will be set to the current date and time.
  6. Confirm the details, then click Add Time.

Note: If the Action Type you want does not appear in the list, you can add a custom type by selecting Suggest an Action in Patient Action field.

Fill out the window that appears with the action you would like to suggest. Please note that this will not appear immediately and our team reserves the right to accept or reject suggestions. Stating a clinical need that is not covered by our suggestions helps us improve our process and we are open to feedback. 

Adding Actions in the HF/HTN report

You can also add Task Time directly from the HF/HTN patient's report on the Dashboard. To do so, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the patient's report on the HF/HTN Dashboard.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the window, and click Add Action.
  3. A new window will appear, allowing you to add time for reviewing the report or any other action.
  4. Click Add Action to submit the action and add the time to the report if the date was within the report time frame.
