If a patient is seen in-office, a transmission must be manually entered into Rhythm360. For more information on entering an in-office patient's transmission into Rhythm360, click on this link.
These transmissions have two types: In-Office Interrogation and In-Office Programming.
A transmission is an In-Office Interrogation if the Report Trigger has been set to "In-Office Alert" or "In-Office Scheduled," AND if there are no Programming CPT codes assigned to it. Interrogation transmissions are included in the patient's billing intervals.
A transmission is an In-Office Programming if the Report Trigger has been set to "In-Office Alert" or "In-Office Scheduled," AND if there are one or more Programming CPT codes assigned to it. Programming transmissions are NOT included in the patient's billing intervals.
CPT Codes listed in Rhythm360 are labelled with Interrogation or Programming to help you distinguish between the two categories.
How to check an in-office transmission for interrogation vs programming

A new window will appear. The left section contains the transmission's Report Trigger and CPT Codes, which you can use to tell whether or not the transmission is an interrogation or programming.
